Our NASA Origins

Dr. Rawand Rasheed, our CEO and co-founder, developed the first version of Helix MICRA™ at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. The mission: protect astronauts from the aftermath of fire and smoke aboard the Orion spacecraft on missions to Mars.

In space, there’s no room for error. No second chances. Systems must work flawlessly under extreme conditions.

The challenge was removing poisonous particles from the air in microgravity, where traditional filtration fails. The solution required filtration that never clogs and uses the minimum possible energy to capture contaminants instantly.

That breakthrough became Helix MICRA™. Multiplexed Inertial Coalescence Refining Apparatus.

Now, with an exclusive global license from NASA, we’re bringing that same precision to commercial buildings.

Separate Humidity from Cooling

The Helix MICRA™ Filter

Our patented filter is unlike anything commercial HVAC has ever seen.

What makes it different:
Helix MICRA™ filter is a rigid material embedded with helical channels. Think of it as a precision-engineered sponge that spins liquid droplets out of airflow and captures them instantly, with no moving parts.

  • Liquid desiccant sprays into incoming humid air
  • Desiccant absorbs moisture on contact
  • Helix MICRA™ filter separates desiccant droplets with moisture from dry air with minimal pressure drop
  • Unique design virtually eliminates carryover

STEP 3

Closed-Loop Regeneration
